3.5 stars. I "liked" it vs. "really liked" it, but I suspect teen readers would eat this one up and "really like" it. (The premise is engaging and the story just went a bit darker and bleak than this mom of two teens was in the mood for.) I really rooted for the main character, but began to feel like his situation was just a little too hopeless. But that's just me and I'm not the intended audience. Again, I think teens would find it absolutely riveting.
